BACKGROUND
COV-ID was initially developed as a tool to manage the return to work process digitally (automated and paperless).
Our solution has since evolved into a tool which can assist not only corporates but also small to medium sized businesses and schools who are under pressure to comply with regulation.
HOW IT WORKS

Sign Up
As an organisation, you subscribe to the COV-ID solution via our web page Subscribe Menu option. The solution operates on a monthly subscription model for less than what you spend monthly on sanitiser.
In return, you will receive the installation files for both PC and an Android App as well as an activation code along with the installation instructions.

Receiving clients/visitors
On arrival of your client/visitor, you ask them if they have a COV-ID.
1) If your client/visitor has a COV-ID, they must present their COV-ID barcode which you scan using the COV-ID app. You then take their temperature and enter it on the app. This will record the client/visitor attendance and their temperature for your records enabling digital compliance with regulation.
2) If your clients/visitors don't yet have a COV-ID, you can enter their details onto the COV-ID system (Name, Surname, e-Mail address and optionally their telephone number). You can then take their temperature and log it to ensure you are compliant with regulation.
At the same time, the client/visitor will be sent an e-mail welcoming them to the COV-ID solution which is completely free for them to use. The e-mail will contain the client/visitor's unique COV-ID barcode in an image format which they can save on their phone or print out.
In the event that you are asked to provide evidence of your compliance, you can simply run a report on the COV-ID system and export it into Excel to provide to the relevant authorities.
BEHIND THE SCENES
There are many solutions on the market with the aim of tracing. These solutions typically also require a lot of personal information which puts clients off from signing up.
COV-ID is different in that it simply requires the consumer's Name, Surname and contact e-mail address (telephone number is optional).
This means that we have very limited information about the consumer to avoid personal information concerns and the e-mail address is required only for the sign up process and so that the consumer can be informed if he/she visited an organisation where a positive COVID-19 case has been confirmed at a date and time that they were there. In such an instance, the COV-ID system will send an automated e-mail to all clients/visitors of your organisation for the said date/time window in order to alert them that they may have been exposed and remind them of the symptoms to look out for and the steps to follow if they suspect that they may have been infected.
COV-ID will not divulge the information of the individual who has been declared as having been infected to any other consumers or organisations. Only you (your organisation) will be informed as the risk may affect your business operations and your clients who the system will inform.
